About Tribunal Members

Printer friendly version Adobe Acrobat Required. (PDF - 21KB)

This page provides information about the administrative justice system and how tribunals, that are part of that system, conduct their work.

  • Who appoints the members of a tribunal?
Usually the government or other entity that establishes the tribunal appoints the tribunal members. A merit-based process must be used for appointments to tribunals established by the government of British Columbia and when a tribunal needs new members, a notice is usually posted on the Board Resourcing and Development Office website.

  • Where is information about tribunal members available?
For information about current members of those tribunals established by the government of British Columbia, see the Board Resourcing and Development Office website.
