Bob de Faye
Bob was appointed Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation in January 2009.
Prior to joining MARR, Bob was the Deputy Minister of Small Business and Revenue. He was also the Chief Administrative Officer of the Ministry of Health, the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Sector Employers' Council Secretariat, and was the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services.
Over a 29 year BC Public Service career, Bob has held a wide variety of senior positions in both line and staff organizations, including: A/Director of Operational Review; Senior Treasury Board Analyst; Director of Policy for the Ministry of Health; Cabinet Planning Secretariat Policy Director; ADM of Government Services and CEO of the Purchasing Commission; ADM Provincial Treasury; and A/ADM of Crown Corporations Secretariat.
Bob holds both a Masters degree in Public Administration as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria. |
