The Province supports Employment and Training programs through various ministries. General labour market information for job seekers, employers, and service providers can be found on the Government of B.C.’s recently launched comprehensive website, WorkBC.

The Industry Training Authority (ITA) helps Aboriginal people to establish careers in the trades, and links with employers, service agencies and training providers to assist Aboriginal people in the trades. The ITA supports Aboriginal people in the trades through funding for training programs, and through research and communications activities.
