BEST - Aboriginal Business and Entrepreneurship Skills Training
Supported by the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, the Aboriginal Business and Entrepreneurship Skills Training program (Aboriginal BEST) gives Aboriginal people skills to help them create their own jobs.
The program offers training that helps participants identify business opportunities and determine their feasibility. Participants conduct market research, write business plans and explore financing options, allowing them to learn about the benefits of self-employment.
Aboriginal BEST is for status or non-status First Nation people, and Métis or Inuit people, who are interested in becoming self-employed or starting their own business. It is for both those who have a solid idea and want to see it happen, and for those who have an interest in business but no specific idea as yet.
It's FREE. There is no charge for the 12 training sessions.
