Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, Tom Christensen (second from left), joins (from L-R) Nanaimo Mayor Gary Korpan, Snuneymuxw Chief John Wesley and Snuneymuxw economic development officer Dave Mannix following the signing of a protocol agreement between the City of Nanaimo and the Snuneymuxw First Nation. The protocol agreement enables the city and the First Nation to work together on local issues and opportunities of common interest.
