WHISTLER - Tom Christensen, Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation discusses water stewardship while attending the BC Water and Waste Association 34th Annual Conference and Trade Show. Minister Christensen addressed the conference on behalf of Minister Barry Penner (Minister of Environment). The province and the Okanagan Basin Water Board recently announced a $550,000 partnership to complete the second phase of a water supply and demand study for the Okanagan Basin.
