The Province provides specialized services to help Indigenous people prepare for success in B.C.'s job market through post-secondary education, education funding, work experience, and building job skills.

Aboriginal Youth Internship Program

A 12-month paid internship for Indigenous youth residing in B.C., age 29 and under. Interns are placed in provincial government ministries for nine months and then in Indigenous organizations for the last three months of their internship.

Articled Student Program

The Ministry of Attorney General hires articled law students who have a strong interest in public service and the practice of public law. It selects candidates who possess the academic, professional and personal qualities that will enable them to become effective public sector lawyers.
