Amended Economic Benefits Agreement

The EBA provides the three Treaty 8 First Nations – Doig River First Nation, West Moberly First Nations and Prophet River First Nation – with a share of the economic benefits from resource development within their traditional territory and a solid foundation for increased participation in the regional economy.

Final Agreement – signed May 20, 2010

The Final Agreement between the three Treaty 8 First Nations and the Province unites the Resource Management Agreements and the Economic Benefits Agreement, affirms a new and ongoing relationship founded on the basis of mutual respect and understanding and, as such, the Parties may agree to negotiate other agreements during the term of the Agreement.
