B.C. STUDENTS WELCOME ATHLETES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
K-12 students across B.C. are invited to make a personal connection with athletes, team members and dignitaries from around the world with unique artwork on Student Welcome Cards. Up to 70,000 cards will be placed on night tables in every guest room in the Olympic and Paralympic Villages and will include the artist's first name, grade, school name, and school e-mail address. PORT ALBERNI – One of the province’s newest StrongStart BC centres has officially opened at Eighth Avenue Elementary school in the Alberni school district.
