Operational Records Classification Systems (ORCS)
Standard ORCS Kit - 2001 Edition
Ministries and agencies of the B.C. Government are required to implement and maintain Operational Records Classification Systems (ORCS) covering records created, captured and retained by their ministry/agency. Ministry Records Officers liaise with staff in Records Management Operations (RMO), Information Access Operations, during the development of their ORCS.
The 2001 edition of the Standard ORCS Kit provides users with RMO (formerly Corporate Records Management Branch) standards, together with explanatory overviews, examples, and formats. ORCS format word templates are packaged into a self-extracting zip file available for download.
