Central Agency Team
The Central Agency Team Records Unit provides records management services, advice and support to:
- Labour, Citizens' Services and Open Government
- Office of the Premier
- BC Public Service Agency
- Government Communications and Public Engagement
Team services include:
- Assisting ministry clients in identifying records management requirements and priorities
- Providing guidance in establishing and maintaining recordkeeping systems (including electronic) in accordance with approved government classification and retention schedules (ARCS/ORCS)
- Advice in the development of internal records management procedures,
- Coordinating and approving both the transfer of records to off-site storage and records destruction applications
- Liaison with Records Management Operations, IAO in the drafting of ministry ORCS
