Resource Team

The Resource Team Records Unit provides records management services, advice and support to the Ministries of:

  • Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation
  • Agriculture
  • Energy and Mines
  • Environment
  • Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations

Team services include:

  • Assisting ministry clients in identifying records management requirements and priorities
  • Providing guidance in establishing and maintaining recordkeeping systems (including electronic) in accordance with approved government classification and retention schedules (ARCS/ORCS)
  • Advice in the development of internal records management procedures
  • Coordinating and approving both the transfer of records to off-site storage and records destruction applications
  • Liaison with Records Management Operations, IAO in the drafting of ministry ORCS
