Resource Team
The Resource Team Records Unit provides records management services, advice and support to the Ministries of:
- Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation
- Agriculture
- Energy and Mines
- Environment
- Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations
Team services include:
- Assisting ministry clients in identifying records management requirements and priorities
- Providing guidance in establishing and maintaining recordkeeping systems (including electronic) in accordance with approved government classification and retention schedules (ARCS/ORCS)
- Advice in the development of internal records management procedures
- Coordinating and approving both the transfer of records to off-site storage and records destruction applications
- Liaison with Records Management Operations, IAO in the drafting of ministry ORCS
