PREMIER UNVEILS TRIBUTE TO BC PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEES
VICTORIA – Premier Gordon Campbell unveiled a permanent tribute to the BC Public Service today in the B.C. Legislature, recognizing the contributions public service employees make to British Columbia.

SPIRIT SQUARE TO HONOUR VETERANS, FIRST NATIONS
PRINCE GEORGE - The Province is contributing $500,000 under the B.C. Spirit Squares Program to help the City of Prince George develop Veteran's Plaza Spirit Square, Premier Gordon Campbell announced.

PRINCE GEORGE – The Province is significantly increasing unconditional grants to local governments, providing more than $12.6 million this year alone to communities in northern B.C., Premier Gordon Campbell announced.

NEW RESORT AGREEMENT SUPPORTS REVELSTOKE TOURISM
VERNON – Revelstoke is the most recent community to sign an agreement under the B.C. Resort Municipality Initiative with the Province, allowing it to share a portion of provincial hotel room tax revenues to invest in local resort-oriented projects and support a greener, healthier environment, Community Services Minister Ida Chong announced.
