QUALICUM BEACH – Residents of Qualicum Beach will benefit from $36,259 in provincial funding to help build the Rupert Road multi-use trail, Small Business and Revenue Minister Kevin Krueger announced.

PROVINCE FUNDS QUEEN CHARLOTTE PROJECTS
QUEEN CHARLOTTE – The Province of B.C. is investing $500,000 to help create a place for Village of Queen Charlotte residents to gather for special events and to build a lake control structure on Stanley Lake, Minister of State for Child Care Linda Reid announced.

$1M ENHANCES SPAN OF NORTH SHORE SPIRIT TRAIL
NORTH VANCOUVER – The Province is investing $1 million toward the City of North Vancouver’s MacKay Creek/CN Rail overpass, adding another link to the North Shore Spirit Trail, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Kevin Falcon announced.

COLWOOD – The City of Colwood will receive $395,050 to improve sidewalks and bicycle lanes making the area safer and more accessible for all citizens to walk and ride, while supporting a greener, more connected community, announced Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development Ida Chong, on behalf of Blair Lekstrom, Minister of Community Development.

HIGHLANDS - The District of Highlands will benefit from $400,000 in Towns for Tomorrow funding for the construction of a new community hall and museum built with leading-edge green building principles, announced Ida Chong, Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development.
