Minister Chong congratulated the winners - some of B.C.'s top researchers and inventors in health, engineering and other fields – for their accomplishments, applauded B.C.'s regional science fair winners who also attended, and thanked the council for its work to accelerate the growth of B.C.'s economy through science and technology.
