NEW EMISSIONS DATA IMPACTS CARBON TAX RATES
VICTORIA – Environment Canada has updated the emission conversion factors for certain fuel types based on a technical review conducted by an expert panel over the past year. As a result, the Province has revised its carbon tax rates on various fuel types in advance of the implementation of the carbon tax.

The Ministry of Finance provides fiscal policies and regulatory frameworks to support a strong provincial economy and the sustainable delivery of services to British Columbians.
