On September 11, 2006, Minister George Abbott joined bcbedline staff to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The bcbedline program allows the timely transfer of acute and critically ill patients to the appropriate level of care. The service is funded by the Ministry of Health and is currently administered by Vancouver Coastal Health.
