On May 11, 2006, Minister Abbott announced the launch of a comprehensive website which provides information and resources to help prepare for a potential influenza pandemic. The website was developed by the Ministry of Health and the BC Centre for Disease Control. While British Columbia continues to improve and implement its preparedness plan, individuals can help prevent or reduce the spread of a pandemic. [News Release]
