On May 29, 2008 Health Minister George Abbott (right) and Stephen McKernan, Director-General of Health from New Zealand signed an international agreement between the British Columbia Ministry of Health and the New Zealand Ministry of Health to further encourage the sharing of information and innovations in health service to maximize the health of British Columbians and New Zealanders.
