On June 23, 2008, Health Services Minister George Abbott and Surrey-Tynehead MLA Dave Hayer joined seniors, health professionals and Fraser Health staff for the official opening of Laurel Place residential care facility, which will provide seniors in the Surrey area with around-the-clock care.
