On April 25, 2008, Minister Abbott spoke at the opening of the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Conference in Vancouver. The conference was organized by the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Alliance and was designed to bring Canadian breast cancer researchers together to share ideas, encourage networking and highlight new research results from across Canada.
