MINISTER CHONG CELEBRATES OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY
On Oct. 30, Minister Chong joined thousands of people in Victoria for the launch of the Olympic Torch Relay, which is a journey across Canada to light the way for the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will last 105 days, will cover 45,000 kilometres and will directly pass through over a thousand communities across Canada.News

ALL BRITISH COLUMBIANS NOW ELIGIBLE FOR H1N1 VACCINE
VICTORIA – As of November 20, 2009, all British Columbians who need and want to be immunized against the H1N1 flu virus will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
