NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE AND ACTION ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Events were held across Canada on December 6 to recognize National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Minister Polak lights a candle to remember and pay tribute to all of the women who have died as a result of violence. The ceremony at the Legislature on December 5, 2008 was held for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, which included events across Canada to mark the day on December 6.
