STUDENTS GO GREEN WITH WALKING SCHOOL BUS
October 8, 2008On October 8, Minister Polak along with Minister of Education Shirley Bond and Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development Ida Chong, marked International Walk to School Day by joining the students of Frank Hobbs Elementary School in Victoria on their walking school bus trip to school. The Walking School Bus initiative helps students reduce their carbon footprint and become more physically active.
