B.C. BEEFS UP SUPPORT FOR MEAT INDUSTRY
On April 7, 2009, Mary Polak, Minister of Healthy Living and Sport launched new supports for the meat industry. Celebrating in the announcement, from left are Robin Smith, Chair of the BC Food Processors Board; Minister, Lorna Medd, VIHA Medical Health Officer; Lisa Daniels, Powell River farmer; and Barbara Schellenberg, owner of the Ethical Kitchen in North Vancouver.
