2010 OLYMPIC COMMUNITY TOUR STOPS IN NANAIMO
February 14, 2009Minister Polak, Minister Ron Cantelon, MLA for Nanaimo-Parksville and Nanaimo mayor John Ruttan hold an Olympic torch to celebrate the countdown to the 2010 Olympics. Along with Polak, Cantelon and Ruttan, community members, mascots and local athletes joined the celebration on February 14 as part of the 2010 Olympic Community Tour, which stopped in Nanaimo.
