PRESCRIPTION PROGRAM PROMOTES HEALTHY EVERYDAY CHOICES
Prescription for Health allows Victoria health professionals involved in the initiative to prescribe physical activity and healthy eating to their patients.

MINISTER POLAK PROCLAIMS KIDSPORT BC WEEK
KidSport, established by Sport BC in 1993, is a community-based sport charity that provides grants to children aged 6 - 18 to participate in a sport season of their choice. There are 25 community chapters in B.C. and 173 across Canada.

Mary Polak, Minister of Healthy Living and Sport and Pete Quevillon, Director of Kidsport BC, celebrate the provincial proclamation of KidSport Week, from January 10-17, during Perry's Prospects Supercamp on January 10, 2009 in Richmond.
