MINISTER POLAK PROCLAIMS KIDSPORT BC WEEK
January 10, 2009Mary Polak, Minister of Healthy Living and Sport and Pete Quevillon, Director of Kidsport BC, celebrate the provincial proclamation of KidSport Week, from January 10-17, during Perry's Prospects Supercamp on January 10, 2009 in Richmond.
KidSport, established by Sport BC in 1993, is a community-based sport charity that provides grants to children aged 6 - 18 to participate in a sport season of their choice. There are 25 community chapters in B.C. and 173 across Canada.
