MINISTER CHONG CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF NEW LYTTON SENIORS' HEALTH CENTRE AND HOUSING
The new centre will bring community health services and seniors' housing under one roof to better meet the needs of First Nations and other residents in the Lytton area.

Minister Ida Chong and Thompson Rural Health Services Administrator Linda Basran celebrate the opening of the Chief David Spintlum Lodge and St. Bartholomew's Health Centre in Lytton.

MINISTER CHONG HELPS OPENS 2009 SPECIAL OLYMPICS SUMMER GAMES
On July 9, Minister Chong attended the opening ceremonies of the 2009 Special Olympics Summer Games, which were held in Abbotsford. There were eight regional teams from B.C. and one team from the Yukon, including approximately 1,400 athletes and coaches who marched into the opening ceremonies.
