44 COMMUNITIES WIN PRIZES IN GAMESTOWN 2010 CONTEST

Minister of Healthy Living and Sport Ida Chong, Olympic rower Ben Rutledge (left) and Olympic track cyclist Zach Bell, join the Olympic and Paralympic mascots to celebrate International Olympic Day and to announce the latest GamesTown 2010 contest winners.
Minister Chong, along with Rick Christiaanse and Paul Varian from Sport BC, celebrate the latest Gamestown 2010 community winners with the Olympic and Paralympic mascots.
Community winners include Penticton, New Westminster, Old Masset, Glen Vowell Band, Hazelton, Quesnel, Kamloops and Powell River, which have each won a visit by an Olympic or Paralympic athlete.
