2009-07-09 - On July 9, Minister Chong attended the opening ceremonies of the 2009 Special Olympics Summer Games, which were held in Abbotsford. There were eight regional teams from B.C. and one team from the Yukon, including approximately 1,400 athletes and coaches who marched into the opening ceremonies.
