MINISTER CHONG CELEBRATES OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY

On Oct. 30, Minister Chong joined thousands of people in Victoria for the launch of the Olympic Torch Relay, which is a journey across Canada to light the way for the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will last 105 days, will cover 45,000 kilometres and will directly pass through over a thousand communities across Canada.

2009-10-02 - Minister Chong gets into the Olympic spirit with the Olympic torch during this year's annual UBCM convention, held in Vancouver from Sept.28 - Oct.2.

Officials from municipalities around the province attending UBCM had the chance to get their pictures taken with the torch.
