CANADA AND B.C. SIGN A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT ON FRENCH LANGUAGE SERVICES

B.C. Minister of State for Intergovernmental Relations Joan McIntyre spoke to about 30 guests gathered in Vancouver Apr. 6 to witness the signing of the Canada-B.C. Agreement on Official Languages 2009-2011. Federal Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages James Moore signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Canada.

The minister signed a new Canada-B.C. Agreement on funding the B.C. Francophone program on Apr. 6 during a ceremony in Vancouver.
