VICTORIA – The Minister responsible for francophone affairs in British Columbia, Joan McIntyre, joined with French immersion school children and Francophone community leaders at the Province’s annual celebration of Francophone Day.

VICTORIA – The Minister responsible for francophone affairs in British Columbia, Joan McIntyre, joined with French immersion school children and Francophone community leaders at the Province’s annual celebration of Francophone Day. During the event at the Legislature in Victoria, McIntyre told the audience the talents of Canada’s francophone athletes at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will serve to reinforce Canada’s linguistic duality and help profile the B.C. francophone community.
