Pacific North West Economic Region - 2008 Annual Summit
The Province of B.C. and the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) will host the 18th PNWER Annual Summit July 20-24, 2008 in Vancouver.
PNWER is the only forum for collaborative bi-national planning and policy development involving both the public and private sectors. Leaders from government and business will come together at the 2008 Summit to address a number of priorities for the Pacific Northwest region, including the Asia Pacific Gateway, border management, climate change, energy, the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, agriculture, workforce mobility and innovation.
