Ida Chong, Minister of Technology, Trade and Economic Development and Minister Responsible for the Asia-Pacific Initiative, and Joan McIntyre, Minister of State for Intergovernmental Relations, met with Consul General Liang Shugen, the recently-appointed Consul General for the People's Republic of China to discuss opportunities for further co-operation between B.C. and China.
