Return to the consultation guide

Name of Organization(optional):

Privacy policy

We invite you to respond to the four questions below as a representative of a B.C. francophone organization. Your contributions to these questions will help us negotiate an agreement that best meets the needs of francophone British Columbians. Please be clear and succinct in your answer. Answers should be no longer than 250 words(1800 characters).

  1. What are the needs and priorities of your organization and members?

  2. Please list the main projects/initiatives your organization is planning to accomplish in the next five years?

  3. The 2009-2014 agreement will take our Province through the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. French and English are the official languages of Canada and the Olympic Games. Canada is well suited to leverage the Games’ linguistic duality and involve and showcase the B.C. francophone community.

    What are some ways the Province and B.C. francophones can work together to achieve a lasting francophone legacy from the 2010 Games?

  4. The agreement will also see the Province well toward its legislated commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 33 percent by 2020. The Province is working to ensure everyone in B.C. has an opportunity to participate, and take part in action that benefits our province, the climate and our world.

    In what ways can the Province work with the B.C. francophone community to support measures that reduce greenhouse gas emissions?
