FOREST SAFETY LEADERS RECOGNIZED AT VANCOUVER ISLAND SAFETY CONFERENCE

On Oct. 3, Labour Minister Murray Coell helped present awards for dedication and commitment to promoting forest safety in B.C. at the Vancouver Island Forest Safety Conference, held in Qualicum. The conference focused on how forest workers and professionals can provide effective safety leadership during challenging economic times.

"LINE OF WORK" DEDICATION CEREMONY
The minister joined WorkSafeBC, the Labour Heritage Centre and the Vancouver Convention Centre to dedicate “Line of Work”, an artistic depiction honouring B.C.’s working men and women through history.
