Lillooet Station Bridge Replacement Location

The Lillooet Station Bridge project has been replaced with a modern two-lane structure and embankment protection. Paving is underway.

Phase One

The Lillooet Station Bridge project, located on Highway 99 at the south entrance of the Village of Lillooet, replaced the previously single-lane bridge with a modern two-lane structure.

Phase one of the project included construction of the new bridge structure and embankment protection on both bridge abutments.

Phase Two

The second phase of this project will focus on completing paving in two locations:

  • Lillooet Station Bridge, including both approaches to the bridge, through to the junction of Highway 99 and Highway 12 as well as Power House Road
  • 10 Mile Slide on Highway 99 

Project Cost

The approximate cost of both phases of the project is $14 million.

Partnerships

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure partnered with the Cayoose Creek Indian Band during both phases of the project and Xaxli’p during the second phase.

Public Consultation

In partnership with the Cayoose Creek Indian Band, the Ministry held an open house March 7, 2018, to share plans for replacing the Lillooet Station Bridge on Highway 99.
