MINISTER POLAK’S VANCOUVER COASTAL TOUR
Minister Mary Polak is honoured with the presentation of a Chieftain Stick by Vancouver Aboriginal Child and Family Services Society Executive Director, Bernadette Spence. The Chieftain Stick is a symbol of leadership and relationship with many of the West Coast First Nations communities.

BC LIONS TOUCH DOWN ON FOSTER FAMILY MONTH
Minister Polak joined foster families at the September 19 BC Lions Home game. The group were on the field for the pre-game warm-up and then headed up to the stands to watch the game.

PROVINCE PROCLAIMS FASD PREVENTION AND SUPPORT DAY
Minister Mary Polak addressed a group of  parents, caregivers, dignitaries, media, and other members of the community at Langley’s city hall during FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) Prevention and Support Day.

Minister Mary Polak celebrated FASD Prevention and Support Day on September 9th at Langley City Hall, with The Centre for Child Development.
