Community Crime Prevention Pilots Target At-Risk Youth
Surrey, December 8, 2008
Minister Tom Christensen was joined by Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General John van Dongen at the launch of I-RAYL (Inter-Regional At-Risk Youth Link), the first of six pilot programs to be implemented in the province. Provincial funding of $1 million per year for up to three years will support the creation of six community-based crime prevention pilot programs aimed to support at-risk youth.
