Volunteer Mentors Offer Kinnections for Youth In Care

Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre, Mar. 25, 2008
Minister of Children and Family Development Tom Christensen launched an innovative new pilot program pairing youth-in-care with adult mentors with the view to create long-term relationships and strengthen community connections. Kinnections targets Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal youth aged 15 to 19 in the continuing care of the ministry. Three Lower Mainland agencies will deliver the year-long pilot.
