2008-07-22 - On July 22, 2008, Mary Polak, Minister of Healthy Living and Sport was joined by Olympian snowboarder Mark Fawcett to lead delegates of the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) Summit on an ActNow BC walk along the Stanley Park Seawall. A new PNWER tradition encourages delegates to take their business meetings outside by walking instead of sitting indoors.
