ROAD TO 2010 TOUR BRINGS OLYMPIC SPIRIT TO COMMUNITIES

On March 12, 2009, Minister Polak, Minister Chong and Minister Hansen joined Paralympic athletes and children from James Bay Community school to celebrate the launch of the Road to 2010 Community Tour and one-year countdown to the 2010 Paralympic Games in Vancouver.

The awards recognize the contributions of British Columbians in the sporting community and the Best of BC Award is a special meritorious award for extraordinary athletic performance by a professional or amateur athlete.
