BC Employment and Assistance (BCEA) Application - Stage 2

Effective: June 23, 2010
Once Stage 1 of the application process is successfully completed, applicants may proceed to the application process Stage 2 for income assistance or disability assistance under the BC Employment and Assistance (BCEA) Program. At the second stage of the application process, ministry staff will:
- review the applicant’s current resume and work search
- ensure that the applicant has had an orientation
- gather information about the applicant’s situation
- assess the eligibility of the family unit for assistance
- request the applicant to complete the voluntary Aboriginal Self Identifier form (SD3187)
- assess the applicant(s) for an employment plan
