Replacement of Lost or Stolen Cheques
Overview
Effective: December 01, 2003
A replacement cheque may be issued to replace an unendorsed income assistance, hardship assistance, or disability assistance cheque that has been lost or stolen.
A repayable supplement may be issued to replace the Family Bonus (FB) portion of an unendorsed Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB) cheque that has been lost or stolen.
Replacement cheques and the supplement for lost or stolen CCTB cheques are provided under the Employment and Assistance Regulation and Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation.
