What is the procedure when the hardship reason no longer exists?

A
Once the hardship reason no longer exists, cases must be re-assessed to determine if the family unit meets the eligibility critieria for income assistance or disability assistance.

What if  a WorkSafeBC claim has been denied and is being appealed? Is the client eligible for hardship assistance or income assistance?

A
Once a WorkSafeBC claim is denied, clients may receive income assistance or disability assistance, even if they are appealing the WorkSafeBC claim.
