Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy: November 3, 2006
Effective: November 03, 2006
The Child Care Subsidy is a monthly payment that helps eligible families meet the cost of child care.
The Ministry of Housing and Social Development is no longer responsible for the service delivery of the Child Care Subsidy Program.
As of October 2, 2006 the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) is responsible for the Child Care Subsidy Program. For enquires regarding the Child Care Subsidy Program and services, please contact MCFD at 1-888-338-6622 or visit their website at http://www.mcf.gov.bc.ca/childcare/.
