PREMIER LEADS GREEN DELEGATION TO KOREA, CHINA
VICTORIA – Premier Gordon Campbell will lead British Columbia’s largest-ever green business delegation on a trade mission to South Korea and China, May 17-24, to promote B.C. expertise in clean technology and green building and pursue opportunities in trade, education and investment. Premier Campbell will also officially open the B.C. Canada Pavilion in Beijing.

PREMIER UNVEILS NEW VISION FOR BC PLACE
VANCOUVER – A major renovation of BC Place Stadium – including a retractable roof after 2010 – will expand the city’s sport, culture and entertainment district; feature a new home for the Vancouver Whitecaps; and provide a waterfront site for a new Vancouver Art Gallery, Premier Gordon Campbell announced.

PROVINCE SUPPORTS CHILDHOOD CANCER TREATMENT RESEARCH

Premier Gordon Campbell participates in a fundraising event for the 'Mining for Miracles' campaign, which supports BC Children's Hospital. B.C.’s Mining Community has raised $10.8 million for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation since 1988.
