OLYMPIC SPIRIT GROWS IN B.C.
In this edition - As British Columbia prepares to host the world in 2010, Premier Gordon Campbell joins VANOC in celebrating the completion of the first indoor venue, UBC Thunderbird Arena, and announcing a new program to showcase Aboriginal artwork at Olympic and Paralympic venues. Premier Campbell helps open the 2008 B.C. Summer Games in Kelowna. Construction begins on a new Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, and the Premier is joined by federal minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day in announcing $231 million worth of National Highway System improvement in B.C. The Premier joined in the opening of the Skwxwú7mesh Lil’wat7úl (Squamish Lil’wat) Cultural Centre - a world-class venue showcasing Squamish and Lil’wat cultures as well as Aboriginal cultures from across B.C. and Canada.

A GREENER FUTURE FOR B.C.
In this edition - As all British Columbians celebrate B.C.'s 150 years of history, Premier Gordon Campbell is also focusing on the next 150 years of this province. To ensure future generations can experience the splendour of this land, as of July 1, 2008 the Province has adopted a revenue-neutral carbon tax aimed at reducing carbon fuel emissions. By now, British Columbians across the province have received their $100 Climate Action Dividend, which will encourage people to take action on climate change on a personal level.  B.C. residents can visit the LiveSmart BC website at www.livesmartbc.ca to discover a wide range of rebates, tax exemptions and other incentives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save money.

BENNETT BRIDGE OPENS, PROVINCE REACHES OUT TO ASIA PACIFIC MARKETS
In this edition - Premier Gordon Campbell is joined by former Premier William Bennett in opening Kelowna's new William R. Bennett Bridge. Premier Campbell leads a green delegation to Korea and China and participates in the opening of B.C. Canada Place in Beijing. A new vision for BC Place and the Vancouver Art Gallery is unveiled. Details of new forestry programs to support workers and communities are announced. Premier Campbell announces a new $39.3-million Health Services Centre at Douglas College.

STRENGTHENING POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION, BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES
In this edition - Premier Gordon Campbell designates five new universities, celebrates the opening of UBC's new Irving K Barber Learning Centre and announces an $18 million investment in a new library and First Nations House of Learning at Thompson Rivers University. New Spirit Squares are announced in three communities, the Province moves ahead on climate action, expands support for the homeless, and takes action to revitalize Vancouver's historic neighbourhoods. Government invests $25 million for forest health and marketing, and $5 million to further develop a new Nanaimo cruise ship facility.
